Cabin-Time will be hosting a mid-residency open house, during CT4, at Wilderness State Park on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
The public is invited to join us at the cabin for the day to cross-country ski, snowshoe, hike, and the like in the AM. At noon, we will begin an orienteering workshop (with and without the aid of compass) led by the C.T. crew. We’ll share a meal together as dusk closes in, a big pot of chili or two (vegan and not) and some fresh-baked dutch oven bread. After dinner, we’ll join around a roaring campfire in the woods surrounded by snow, for a round of studio talks. Each CT4 resident will give a small talk, present their project and host a Q+A. Ghost stories, camp songs, tea and coffee to follow.
Detailed schedule and minimal ticket price (chili price) will be announced soon, and space is limited. We will be announcing this soon so attendees will have the chance to book their own cabin in the park, get a winter backcountry camping permit, and the like, if staying the night.
